Founded in 1961 by Valentino Macoritto in Friuli, northeastern Italy, I Macoritti is a family-owned bakery specializing in grissini, the Italian breadstick with origins dating back to 17th-century Turin. While traditional grissini are long and thin, I Macoritti's signature format is a short, chunky bite-sized version designed for snacking and dipping.
